In our Limburg hospitals it will be exciting next week. They are in the process of scaling up. The Jessa hospital in Hasselt is also making extra beds available. The hospital in Hasselt will be at its ceiling by 6 or 9 November at the latest. The pressure is increasing, especially due to the transfers of patients from Brussels and Liège. It is striking that the Jessa hospital in Hasselt and Sint-Trudo in Sint-Truiden have agreed to allow visits for COVID patients.
“We learned from the first wave. By organizing ourselves better, we can allow visitors without the risk of contamination.” That says Yves Breysem, general manager of Jessa.
