As PK informed, the prosecutor’s office intends to accuse the deputy of violating the bodily integrity of deputies to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, insulting the deputy and forcing the journalist to refrain from the press intervention.
“According to the findings of the investigation, MP Sławomir Nitras reacted with a violent outburst of aggression to the opinion contradicting in his opinion expressed during the discussion by MP Iwona Arent. He kicked her in the thigh and when she announced that she would report the incident to the Deputies’ Ethics Committee, he insulted her with a vulgar word. The incident took place in October 2018 on a Sejm bus, which deputies traveled to the airport in Warsaw, “PK informed.
She also added that the subject of the prosecutor’s request was also a violation of the physical integrity of MP Sebastian Kaleta, whom Sławomir Nitras pushed and held forcibly, preventing him from entering the “Czajka” sewage treatment plant in Warsaw in July 2020. Using physical force, Sławomir Nitras prevented MP Kaleta from carrying out parliamentary control in “Czajka”.
“MP Nitras also used physical violence against a journalist who, in July 2020, during an election rally in Ciechanów, tried to ask a question to a presidential candidate. The deputy forcibly pushed the journalist in a different direction, pulled him away with his hand and directed aggressive verbal harassment at him. this way effectively prevented the journalist from performing his official duties “- PK informed.
Lifting Sławomir Nitras’ immunity will enable him to be presented with charges of hooliganism, the prosecutor’s office reported.
