The organizers of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 for CS2 announced the disqualification of 9Pandas from the tournament. Denis seized Kostin’s team will be replaced at the championship by GamerLegion.
PGL representatives said that all participants in the upcoming major were supposed to arrive in Denmark by March 14. The organizers noted that they extended the deadline for 9Pandas several times, but by March 16, only three members of the roster arrived at the tournament site.
9Pandas qualified for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, winning the RMR play-off tournament for Europe. GamerLegion lost to the seized squad in the match for a slot at the major with a score of 1:2.
PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will take place from March 17 to 31 in Denmark. 24 teams, including Team Spirit, Virtus.pro and Cloud9, will compete for a prize fund of $1.25 million. You can see the schedule of the first matches of the tournament in the report.
