9916 new cases of COVID-19 – 26.38% of those tested, 70 people died





9916 are the newly diagnosed persons with COVID-19 in our country for the past 24 hours. This is 26.38% of those tested. Their number is 2483 less than yesterday. 70 people have died in the last 24 hours.

A total of 37,587 tests were performed in the last 24 hours, 13,008 of which were PCR and 24,579 were antigenic. This is shown by the data in the National Information System.

A total of 658,492 people were cured. In the last 24 hours 4814 registered.

913,592 are the total number of cases of coronavirus confirmed in our country at the moment. The death toll since the beginning of the pandemic is 32,939.

A total of 20,014 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed among medical staff. Most are nurses – 6548, followed by doctors (5183) and nurses (3579).

A total of 5,372 people are hospitalized, 519 of them in the intensive care unit. 624 are newly admitted to the hospital for the last 24 hours, 83.65% of them have not been vaccinated.

For the last 24 hours 11,848 doses of vaccines have been given and their total number reaches 4,126,744.

2,242,012 people were quarantined during the pandemic, 116,841 of whom are active. The total number of tests performed in Bulgaria is 8,321,643.
