Now, the claims of Indonesian brands appearing at Paris Fashion Week 2022 are not real. Starting from the Instagram Story upload @mrluckyheng which revealed the schedule from the official Paris Fashion Week Instagram account, there was not a single designer or brand name from Indonesia.
“Somewhat resentful of Indonesian brands claiming to be in Paris Fashion Week this year. Everyone dares to claim and use the name Paris Fashion Week but no one dares to tag @parisfashionweek,” wrote @mrluckyheng.
“This missleading information is quite a fool for the real community. The real Paris Fashion Week there is only one. That is organized by the Fédération française de la couture. There is also only one official schedule. The rest, many media and agencies trade broadcast slots to insert ‘fake’ schedules into the original calendar, in the name of PFW as if it were legit.,” wrote @mrluckyheng.
He also emphasized that non-fashion brands would never enter Paris Fashion Week.
Controversial artist Nikita Mirzani who is currently in Paris also commented. He admitted that he received many questions about Indonesian brand claims at Paris fashion Week 2022.
“I am asked about PFW every time I live on Instagram. Again, Indonesian brands are excited to enter Paris Fashion Week. The name is clear, fashion week, not fashion skincare or body lotion. let alone food. A non-fashion brand wouldn’t make sense to enter Paris Fashion Week. What I’m posting here is the official Paris Fashion Week Instagram with the fixed date and the brands that will be fashioning a show at PFW. All high brands and there is only 1 Instagram officially PFW. It can be seen clearly that there is no Indonesian brand like the one that is predicted to enter the media or gossip accounts that have a lot of followers.“wrote Nikita Mirzani in his Instagram feed.
