98 Metro Residents Infected with Dengue Fever during 2021

Metro (Lampost.co) — The Department of Health (Dinkes) released a case of Dangue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD) in Metro City recorded as many as 98 people.

Head of the Metro City Health Office, Erla Andrianti, said the spike in cases occurred in October and November 2021.

“From the beginning of January to December 14, 2021, there have been 98 cases spread across all urban villages. The highest case reports are in Yosomulyo,” he said, Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

With this spike in cases, his party has written to every Puskesmas in Metro to immediately take preventive measures.

Erla also appreciated the steps taken by the community organization (Ormas) Trader Cares Indonesia (TPI) which routinely carried out fogging in every neighborhood where there are cases of DHF.

He also asked the mass organizations that carried out fogging At the request of the community, they can coordinate with the service and puskesmas officers. This is to align the smoking dose following the ideal distance.
