“60 years Bundesliga”: Schalke was, at least mostly, right in the middle, in all conceivable variations. The Royal Blues are currently second-class, but on September 5th they will be first-class again for at least 90 minutes (with probably plenty of injury time): Then the Tradition department and the Schalke Museum invite you to a themed evening from 7:04 p.m. in the nostalgia series “90 minutes – an evening under Schalke”.
Presenter Jörg Seveneick, together with numerous guests in the media center of the Veltins Arena, looks back on 60 years of royal blue Bundesliga history.
There is a lot to talk about
Who can start next to Schalke in the first Bundesliga season? Why did the Knappen stay top notch despite being last in the table in the 1964/1965 season? When is a win worth three points? How did the Bundesliga develop from the Glückauf-Kampfbahn to the Parkstadion to the Veltins-Arena? What were the biggest blue and white bankruptcies, bad luck and glitches? When did Schalke celebrate the best goals, triumphs and titles? There is a lot to talk about.
Celebrities remember
On September 5th, prominent Schalke companions who found their stage, their workplace or their regular place in the north stand at the S04 will remember and review six decades of the Bundesliga. Afterwards they are happy to fulfill autograph and photo requests.
