Possibly everyone has experienced a sleep tremor or once it has started, thus leading to wakefulness, which makes us ask why this is happening. According to “brightside” and “webmd”, some of the reasons for this are:

1- Paralyze your mind during sleep:

Perhaps it is important first to understand why we do not move during our sleep normally, and this is caused by the presence of chemicals released in the brain that work to stop the cells that allow muscles to function, and even though your brain is working actively, your body muscles remain paralyzed.

2- Your brain struggles to balance the real world with the dream world:

This transition does not always go smoothly, and when there is an imbalance, your mind struggles for control between the real world and the dream world, and for example, when you dream about kicking a soccer ball, this may suddenly translate into actually kicking your partner in bed.

3.Sleep orgasms are considered normal until they start to cause anxiety:

Sleeping orgasms are completely natural and nothing to worry about, but they do cause discomfort when they happen often, especially for your bed partner, leading to increased anxiety and insomnia to more sleep jolts.

4- Pain:

Especially pain from arthritis, heart failure, sickle cell anemia or cancer, so it is best to consult a doctor.

5- Problems with breathing:

These include asthma, bronchitis or another lung disease.

6- Digestive problems:

Especially from pain and coughing from acid reflux or irritable bowel syndrome.

7- Frequent urination:

It may be because you consumed a lot of fluids during the day or because of a health condition, such as diabetes, heart disease or a bladder infection.

8- Smoking

Nicotine is another stimulant that can make you sleep less, as many smokers wake up early and suddenly when their bodies start craving a cigarette.

9 – sleep apnea:

If you snore a lot loudly, you may have obstructive sleep apnea, in which the tissues in your mouth and throat block the airway, and breathing stops several times at night, which leads to waking up suddenly during sleep.
