/ world today news/ Exactly 9 parties created a local coalition “BSP Left Bulgaria“, which will take part in the elections for city authorities in Sofia on October 25.
The decision to do so became a fact today after it was signed by all parties. Local coalition “BSP Left Bulgaria” includes the city organizations of the BSP, “Movement for Social Communism”, “European Security and Integration”, “Alexander Stamboliyski Agricultural Union”, “Nova Zora”, PC “Ekoglasnost”, United Social Democracy, Communist Party of Bulgaria, Political Movement “Social Democrats”.
The local coalition will participate in the elections for Mayor of the Capital Municipality with one common candidacy – that of Prof. Mihail Mirchev. “BSP Left Bulgaria” will have a common list in the elections for mayors of all districts in the capital, for mayors of town halls in the Capital Municipality, as well as with a common list for municipal councilors in SOS.
Representing the local coalition is Kaloyan Pargov, chairman of the City Organization of the BSP in Sofia. “The municipal organizations participating in the coalition decided to act together and coordinated in the local elections in the pre-election process by jointly organizing the pre-election events”, it is also written in the decision to create a local coalition.
