Ulsan City announced that six additional confirmed patients were registered as patients 845 to 853 by 7 pm on the same day.
According to the city, four additional confirmed cases related to the International Mission Group (Intercorp) specializing in Christian missions organizations were added due to the spread between families. No. 847 (teens, Jung-gu) is the family of No. 674, previously classified as an Intercop-related confirmed case.
No. 849 (60s, Dong-gu) was also found to have contacted No. 725, a confirmed person related to Intercop. 851 (40s) and 852 (10s) are families of 648 confirmed on the 30th of last month.
As a result, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Ulsan that were directly or indirectly related to Intercorp increased to 160.
Regarding the Jinju International Prayer Center, one confirmed person came out one or two days in a row.
No. 848 (50s, Jung-gu) visited the International Prayer Center where the recent outbreak occurred on the 8th, and it was investigated that it had contacted the confirmed patient No. 838 in Namyangju. Ulsan No. 838, previously announced as a confirmed case on the 12th, visited the International Prayer Center on the 4th of this month.
According to the list of visitors to the International Prayer Center received from Jinju City in Shiga, a total of three people from Ulsan recently visited the prayer center. Two of the three were confirmed by 838 and 848, and the other was negative.
However, the city sees that there may be more visitors who are not identified on the list.
Accordingly, the city issued an administrative measure on the 13th to require citizens who visited the International Prayer Center (35, Jinjuseong-ro 172beon-gil, Jinju-si, 172beon-gil, Jinju-si) to undergo diagnostic tests from the 27th of last month to the 10th of this month.
In addition, number 845 (40s, Buk-gu) was confirmed as 832 family members, and 846 (teens, Jung-gu) were confirmed as 844 families on the 12th. In Ulsan, 292 (80s) who were infected while being hospitalized at Yangjiyoyang Hospital and were treated at Ulsan University Hospital died on the 12th. As a result, the number of deaths related to Yangjiyoyang Hospital increased to 31, and the total cumulative death toll in Ulsan increased to 34.
