This morning the operation “24 hours in your neighborhood” concluded, which was implemented by the Municipal Public Security Directorate (DSPM), in the Barrio de Londres neighborhood, with which it approaches elements with citizens to listen to their needs in security and offer advice, different services and support that the corporation has.
The operation was attended by the different groups of the DSPM such as the Gang Unit, EPE and K-9, in addition to the virtual patrol of the Drone Air Division, which led to the arrest of nine people for possession and consumption of substances harmful to health, for illegal possession of two bladed weapons and a fight.
On the other hand, the areas of Citizen Attention, Civic Justice and the Proximity group interviewed 40 residents of the neighborhood, including area merchants; Twelve inspections were also carried out and three risk factors were located that allow the corporation to integrate an action and service plan for the sector.
In the same way, a camp was set up that remained for 24 hours in the “La Burrita” park, which is located at the intersection of Urquidi and 35 streets, where the H. Fire Department and personnel from the Higher Security Institute were present. Chihuahua (ISSCUU), who were informing those interested about the next generation of police and firefighters in the city.
Finally, the director of the DSPM, Julio César Salas, accompanied by the deputy directors of the corporation, met with the residents of the neighborhood with whom they agreed to return in a month, to follow up on the commitments made and present them with a results report. .
