The performances have sparked heated counter-protests and rejection in places like Los Angeles, California.

More recently, a concert with Feucht in Portland, Oregon, sparked controversy over his security team, which included people accused of their involvement in the 01/06/2021 insurrection in Washington, DC when far-right militants entered the Capitol, federal legislative seat.

Feucht’s previous concert on the National Mall, touted as the end or closure of his tour, in October 2020, abounded in a debate on abortion, the United States Supreme Court and a speech by Republican Senator Josh from Missouri. Hawley, the leader of the legislators who later challenged the results of the 2020 election.

Feucht posted a photo on Instagram with Trump and announced in the caption that the former president will deliver a speech via video conference.

“His speech and call to prayer is one you DO NOT WANT TO LOSE !!!”, invited.

Trump’s appearance comes about a week after he helped launch a new National Faith Advisory Board, which is led by Florida pastor and former head of the White House faith office, Paula White.

The creation of the Board further fueled speculation that Trump may be gearing up for a 3rd. presidential campaign, as he resembles a similar group of largely evangelical Christian advisers he assembled during his 2016 career.
