Players only need to disassemble the original GameCube wireless controller and replace the internal motherboard with this adapter to turn the GameCube wired controller into a wireless Bluetooth controller, which can be used on Nintendo devices Switch and Android.

The modified accessories also include analog joysticks and trigger buttons that work with the Hall effect, and a built-in 300mAh battery, which can be used continuously for about 6 hours when fully charged. However, if users still want to use the controller with the original GameCube game console, they must purchase an additional Bluetooth receiver accessory from 8-Bitdo.

This modified accessory is currently open for pre-order and retails at a price of $26. It is expected to officially ship on September 25.
