85 people on board – Libero Quotidiano


Tragedy in the Philippines where a military plane crashed in the South of the country, with at least 85 people on board. To disclose the first information is the head of the Armed Forces, the general Soybean cirilite, adding that so far 40 people have been rescued. The aircraft, a C-130, reportedly crashed while attempting to land on the island of Jolo, in the province of Sulu. “Rescuers are at the scene of the accident”, commented Sobejana, “we pray that we can save more lives”. The flight carried troops from the southern city of Cagayan de Oro. Government forces have long been engaged in the fight against the Islamic separatist group of Abu Sayyaf, in the Muslim-majority province of Sulu.
