84 Masters players in the major tournament of the American Professional Golf (PGA) Tour scheduled for April next year have been confirmed. Lim Seong-jae (photo) was also included. Held at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, USA on April 8, 2021 (Korean time), 20 past champions with lifetime qualifications, major competition winners for the last 5 years, Players Championship winners for the last 3 years, and Masters this year. Those within 12th place will participate.
Lim Sung-jae is the only Korean player to participate in the Masters next year. Lim Seong-jae took second place in the Masters held last month.
Kim Si-woo, who competed as a winner of the Players Championship until this year, was excluded from the list of participants next year because the three-year guarantee for the Masters appearance has expired and other qualifications were not secured.
You can get additional qualifications for next year’s Masters. You can join the Masters by winning 13 PGA Tour tournaments held just before the Masters or by entering the 50th place in the world rankings as of March 30 next year.
