839 newly infected with COVID-19, 7.48% of those tested, 28 died





839 people have been newly diagnosed with COVID-19 in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours. This is 341 cases less than yesterday, according to the Unified Information Portal.

A total of 11,209 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. This means that 7.48 percent of new cases are tested.

There were 28 deaths during the day, of which 96.43% did not have a completed vaccination cycle. The total number of dead is 36,636.

1,461 people are hospitalized, and 174 of them are in the intensive care unit. 154 are newcomers to a hospital.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus so far is 1,142,6988. Of these, 172,222 are active.
