Between Saturday morning and Sunday morning, 8184 new corona cases were registered, a new day record. On Saturday, the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) had reported 8139 positive tests. Initially there were 8,141 but that was adjusted on Sunday.
The number of deaths increased by 15 last 24 hours. That does not mean that all these people died in the past 24 hours. Such information is sometimes passed on with some delay. 28 deaths were reported between Friday morning and Saturday morning.
