Moonwalls studio announced a retro science fiction thriller Order ’85 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The game takes place in the 1980s with survival elements and a “pirate simulator”. The Moonwalls promised a diversified gameplay and a story “full of surprises”.
Order ’85The protagonist is a teenager who lives in the suburbs of Chicago. He receives a Commander computer for his birthday – a key part of the story.
“The plot will deal with, among other things, the themes of the arms race, military experiences, the Roswell incident, nuclear war and – of course – artificial intelligence,” said designer Marcin Makaj. . “However, I don’t want to reveal too much and spoil the fun. It is important to note that each game session is fundamentally different. We have prepared hundreds of different possibilities, many random elements, side quests and three different endings. ”
“This unique project has been in development for several years and is created with great passion and attention to detail,” added publisher Ultimate Games. “For example, the game has a DOS-like operating system that we can use to experiment with different commands. This is of course just an example – Order ’85 offers many small Easter eggs and references. ”
With the game’s development almost complete, The Moonwalls is seeking C $ 8,000 via Kickstarter to expand its reach. Expansion goals include retro games for the C85 computer, VHS movies for the in-game VCR, readable books, and more.
