One of the country’s largest primary and lower secondary schools will be emptied this morning.
The reason is that two students at Glommasvingen school have been diagnosed with covid-19.
The route of infection is unknown and there are many close contacts. The municipality therefore takes no chances and now sends home all 800 students and employees and puts them in quarantine.
– Parents and guardians who must pick up students at the school are asked to do so as soon as possible. All students must be picked up, the municipality writes on its website.
The school is the only primary and secondary school in the municipality. This means that all children in the municipality go to Glommasvingen school.
Now everyone is quarantined until and including Monday 22 March.
