80 percent of companies want to vaccinate employees as soon as there are vaccines

By the end of March, 240 CEOs of companies operating in the Czech Republic took part in the survey.

Businesses with more than 250 employees are slightly more interested in vaccinations. Of these, 85 percent are. For smaller companies, it is 78 percent.

Companies in the areas of retail and logistics are slightly less interested in vaccinations, where 75 percent of directors expressed a positive opinion.

According to a PwC survey, 26 percent of the addressed bosses are going to motivate employees to be vaccinated. In industrial companies it is about 36 percent.

The results of the survey roughly correspond to the findings of the Association of the Automotive Industry among member companies. In March, 68 percent of companies said they were willing to help the state with vaccination at all costs, and another 12 percent said they were willing to help with vaccination if they received a state contribution.

Companies are currently required to test their employees regularly. Vaccination in the Czech Republic depends mainly on the supply of a sufficient number of vaccines from suppliers. So far, 1.44 million Czechs have been vaccinated with at least one dose of covid-19 vaccine. About three-quarters of a million of them have completed vaccinations.
