80 micro-towns in Catalonia will enjoy live music through the ITINERA Parlem Festival

80 micro-towns in Catalonia will have the opportunity to enjoy live music through the festival ‘ITINERA parlem‘created by the Association of Small Towns of Catalonia together with Marcel Marata, artistic director. The goal is to bring quality music to unknown places. “In many of these towns, a Jazz concert will arrive earlier than an ATM, a supermarket or a Post Office,” says Marata.

“It is one of those days when you are happy with the work you do”, commented the Minister of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Àngels Ponsa. “This festival gives meaning to the cultural event, and I am convinced that it is a project for the future,” continues the counselor. It also claims the same labor rights as the other sectors.

At a time when music asks what it can do to survive, there are people who think about the future”, Comments the artistic director of the Festival, Daniel Negro. The main sponsor is the company Parlem Telecom, and from the company they point out that the festival is an opportunity to collaborate with the culture of Catalonia throughout the territory.

“As micro-towns we can welcome this quality music that we need,” says Mario Urrea, President of the Association of Micro-towns of Catalonia. “There can be no first and second citizens, and thanks to ITINERA, it brings us closer “, concludes Urrea.
