It is advisable to turn the heating down a bit to save energy. But how do you get your house warm? With these tips from Santé.
1. Dress in layers
If you get cold easily, it is good to wear many layers on top of each other. This works better than just a warm sweater because the air between the layers insulates well. We bet you will immediately feel much warmer if you wear not 1 but 2 T-shirts or shirts?

4. Close the curtains

5. Drink lots of hot drinks
With a cup of tea in your hands you really feel warmer. Can also be chocolate milk of course. And hit one warm blanket over your legs, that really helps a lot.
6. Light a candle
Candles are not only cozy, but they also bring a lot of warmth. Even tea lights can make a (small) room warmer.
7. Use an electric blanket or foot warmer
An electric blanket or foot warmer is cheaper to use than the CV. You can warm your bed with an electric underblanket or buy one that allows you to sit on the couch. There are also electric foot warmers, and even back warmers and electrically heated cushions.
8. Use the oven
Bake your own bread. With this tip you can kill two birds with one stone. You have cheap bread and the heat from the oven flows nicely into the kitchen or living room. Leave the oven door open after baking to provide even more heat.
