Now it’s time for
Sweden’s second match
in the ladies’ European Championship in football.
Sweden will play against Switzerland
who have had major problems
with gastritis.
The match is played tonight, Wednesday,
in the city of Sheffield in England.
In Sweden’s first match
in the European Championships it was 1-1
against the Netherlands.
It was also a draw
in the match between Switzerland
and Portugal.
That match ended 2-2.
But before Wednesday’s match
Switzerland has had major problems
with stomach disease in the team.
Nine players and eleven leaders
became ill in the end
of last week.
Most have now become
healthy again and can be with
in the match against Sweden.
In Sweden’s law, it is uncertain
about striker Sofia Jakobsson
can play.
She has an injury
in the back of the thigh.
However, Stina is Blackstenius
and Linda Sembrant
ready for play after their injuries.
Hedvig Lindahl
is Sweden’s goalkeeper.
She has recently changed clubs.
She will
play for Djurgården
in the ladies’ highest series.
Hedvig Lindahl
have in recent years
played in several different
clubs in Europe.
Last club was
Atletico Madrid and Spain.
