Then the feast of Eid al-Fitr begins.

Many people celebrate together
with family and friends.
They eat good food
and give each other presents.
The party is important for many businesses.
People buy things for eid al-fitr.
In the shops there is usually an extra price
on things that many people want to eat at the party.
Those who celebrate Eid al-Fitr in Sweden
often buys presents
for approximately two thousand kroner each,
says Swedish Trade.
The most common is to give away
clothes, shoes and bags.
Many also give to each other
sweets, flowers and toys.
At the feast of Eid al-Fitr
people usually say
happy party to each other.
They say Id mubarak
eller Eid Mubarak.
It is a way of wishing
each other a good new year.
