The liver, kidneys and bladder are important internal organs in the body, but people overlook this fact over time, and this is what backs them up with unfortunate consequences at some point in their lives.

You may be fortunate to have both kidneys, but you need to make sure that they are as healthy as possible, because that may be a reason to save your life. We have some simple tips to ensure your body stays healthy for years on end.

We gathered some of the most important tips for you to help you protect your kidneys, liver and bladder from the accumulation of toxins, according to what was reported by the US site “PrideSide”.

1. Limit salt and soft drinks

While coffee, soft drinks and salt have become a major place in our diets, it is imperative that we consume them in moderation to mitigate their unseen harm.

2. More green tea, water and cranberries.

But food is not your enemy, as you can add a lot of toxin-reducing foods to your diet. A special mention here is drinks such as green tea, ginger tea and pure water.

Adding more fruits and vegetables to your meals, especially cranberries and brown seaweed, will do the same.

3. Take vitamins.

There are many herbs rich in important elements that play a role in maintaining the health of the kidneys, including vitamin B6, omega-3 and potassium citrate.

These three elements are able to reduce your chances of developing kidney stones, and are easier to obtain from vitamin and mineral supplement pills.

4. Balance between your physical and mental health.

Not only is tension uncomfortable, but it can wreak havoc on your body and harm your internal organs, and you can include breathing exercises in a simple meditation routine to control stress.

There is also another simple approach is hydrotherapy, which is using water to relieve pain and improve circulation as well as provide some relief that your body and mind both need.

5. Try the two-day recipe for kidney cleansing.

Once you literally incorporate these healthy tips into your daily habits, a wonderful detox will work like a charm. Here is an example of a two-day cleanse. But we recommend that you notify the doctor about these changes to your diet and make sure that they are appropriate for you.

Breakfast: For your first meal of the day, drink a juice of your choice with some fruit, such as beet juice with dried cranberries, or a smoothie with spinach.

Lunch: Try another juice for lunch. And if you don’t want another drink for your second meal, you can have hot millet cereal with some of your favorite fruits.

Dinner: For the last meal, you can prepare a salad plate. Start by mixing leafy greens, then add your favorite type of protein (lean meat or soy cheese), and sprinkle it with drops of lemon or some pieces of fruit, but watch out for overdoing it.

6. Try bladder exercises.

You may be surprised that there are many methods that you can adopt to take care of the health of your bladder, perhaps the most prominent of which is a group of pelvic exercises developed by Dr. Arnold Kegel in 1948 with the aim of helping women who experience incontinence after childbirth or menopause.

These exercises, when performed regularly, can strengthen the pelvic muscles and prevent bladder leakage. All you have to do is tighten and relax your pelvic muscles for 10 seconds for each of the two movements. Continue on it 3 times a day, which equates to 90 contractions per day.

Make sure your bladder is empty right before exercise, and since you can do the exercises without anyone noticing, it will be easier for you to incorporate them into your daily routine.

7. Exercise the liver.

There are exercises to help the liver as well. You can feel the liver on the right side of the body, just below the ribs. Try applying pressure on the area or rubbing it gently 100 times a day to keep it safe. You can also try the trunk twisting exercise by rotating your torso from left to right 15 times, and repeat the same number in the opposite direction.

You can do daily exercises as described above for five hours a week, and you will notice impressive results soon.

8. Smoothie

We mentioned the role of smoothie in maintaining the integrity of your kidneys, so we offer you some varied recipes that will encourage you to include it in your diet.

Mix a cup of almond milk with half a cup of soy cheese and half a cup of spinach. Then add some fruits like berries, apples, or pumpkin seeds.

To prepare a different smoothie, take a cup of soy milk and add a frozen banana and half a cup of spinach to it, then add pieces of your favorite fruit. Spirulina algae can also be beneficial.
