In the corona series test on an asparagus farm in the municipality of Kirchdorf in the Diepholz district, eight further corona cases have so far been discovered. According to the district administration, around half of all 900 tests have been evaluated. The other results should be available on Wednesday.
Around 100 employees, mainly Eastern European seasonal workers, had already been infected on the farm. The infected live in quarantine, their colleagues are only allowed to leave their homes to work. Because of the numerous corona cases in the asparagus farm, the so-called federal emergency brake in the Diepholz district comes into force. Thereafter, stricter rules apply to all citizens, such as a nocturnal ban on going out and distance teaching in most schools.
