8 migrants were not allowed into Lithuania during the last day, the Latvian attack continues

On Saturday, SBGS officers turned over 14 foreigners, on Friday – 7, on Thursday – 5, and on Wednesday – 8. On Tuesday, no cases were recorded that migrants from Belarus had tried to enter illegally. 4 such persons were not admitted on Monday.

There were no foreigners admitted to Lithuania for humanitarian reasons on Sunday.

Since the beginning of August, when the SBGS officers acquired the right not to admit migrants from Belarus, 8063 have not entered Lithuania (midnight data from Sunday to Monday).

Lithuanian border guards and soldiers assisting them professionally during the migrant crisis lost their service weapons at the border last day. Border control on the Lithuanian side is still under intensified regime.

Latvian border guards did not admit 54 migrants from Belarus trying to enter on Sunday. There were 68 such turns on Saturday, 57 on Friday and as many as 103 on Thursday.
