Dr. Sara Moselhi, a gastroenterologist at the British Royal College of Physicians, explained that overeating at breakfast time can lead to disorders such as heartburn, acid reflux, indigestion and bloating.
Dr. Sarah advised maintaining body hydration by drinking two liters of water, avoiding drinks rich in sugar and caffeine, not overeating and chewing food slowly, as well as not sleeping two hours before eating fatty foods.
She stressed eating the suhoor meal, increasing the amount of fiber in the breakfast and suhoor meals, eating plenty of low-fat organic yoghurt, and doing light exercise to help digest food.
It is well known that fasting leads to changes in the usual diet, and it is important to adopt a diet that helps the body adapt.
