Over time, consuming large amounts of salt, sugar, saturated fat, and refined carbohydrates increases your risk of heart attack or stroke, so you may want to focus on your overall diet.

1. Soda:

3. Processed Meat:
Processed meats are the worst types of meat for your heart, contain high amounts of salt, and most are high in saturated fat, so they’re not heart-healthy.
4. White Rice, Bread And Pasta:
Rice, bread, pasta, and white flour snack foods lack fiber, healthy vitamins and minerals, and refined grains quickly turn into sugar, which your body stores as fat. A diet high in refined grains causes belly fat, which studies link to heart disease and type 2 diabetes.
5. Pizza:
Most take-out pizza contains huge amounts of sodium, fat and calories, all of which increase your risk of heart attack.
6. Butter:
Butter is high in saturated fat, which raises harmful cholesterol and increases your risk of heart disease, so it’s best to replace butter with olive oil or vegetable oil which contains heart-healthy mono- and polyunsaturated fats.
7. Flavored Whole Yogurt:
Yogurt is a great source of nutrition, plus eating it regularly protects you from high blood pressure, but it’s high in added sugars, which are linked to weight gain, high blood pressure, inflammation and heart disease.
8. French Fries:
French fries from restaurants and fast food restaurants contain a lot of fat and salt, which is bad for the heart, and one study found that people who ate french fries 2 or 3 times a week were more likely to die early.
