Eight new coronavirus infections (Corona 19) confirmed in Gyeongbuk have been added.
According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 12th, the number of confirmed corona19 in the region as of 0 o’clock on the day increased by 8 (four in Pohang, two in Andong, one in Gumi, and one in resident), for a total of 2,677 people (counted by the Central Defense Agency).
In Pohang, three people who had contact with Ulsan confirmed positive tests, and one contacted with Guryongpo was confirmed at a test before self-isolation was lifted.
Two Andong were contacted by the confirmed patient and were positive in the test before self-isolation was lifted.
One in Gumi is a contact person related to a nursing school, and one resident is a contact person related to a local church.
The number of new confirmed patients in Gyeongbuk daily increased to 31 on the 18th of last month and continued to show double digits, followed by four on the 11th, recording a single digit for two consecutive days.
In the last week, 141 domestic confirmed cases excluding foreign inflows occurred. Currently, 2,549 people are in self-isolation.
