79th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York: the head of Ivorian diplomacy increases the number of meetings

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Ivorians Abroad, Léon Kacou Adom will take an active part in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, in New York, together with the Vice-President of the Republic, Tiémoko Meyliet Koné .

In collaboration with representatives of the diplomatic representation of Côte d’Ivoire in New York, Minister Léon Kacou Adom was able to plan the participation of the Ivorian delegation led by the Vice-President all current issues and various debates at this assembly.

The public debate began on Tuesday September 24, will continue until Saturday September 28 and will end on Monday September 30, 2024.

On the sidelines of this 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly “Gathering of the Future”, the Head of Ivorian Diplomacy, Minister Léon Kacou Adom, gave several audiences to important people from the world of global diplomacy.

In particular the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, SEM ATTAF Ahmed of Algeria, SEM Bruno Rodriguez PARRILLA, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, SEM Albert SINGIRO, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation of Burundi, SEM Mohamed Ali NAFTI, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad from Tunisia and SEM Olushegun Adjadi BAKARI, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Benin.

On the agenda of these many meetings, there are several topics of common interest and multifaceted questions on the agenda.

Under the theme “Gathering the Future: “Towards a Sustainable and Prosperous Future”, this Conference brought together several heads of state and government to discuss and develop new solutions to today’s challenges. – today and in the future.
