In the 10 days since she launched her candidacy, the vice president has raised more than $200 million, held heated rallies and her team has launched an intense social media campaign, replete with memes about Harris, to boost her image.
Before Biden gave up on re-election, Harris had a 37.8% favorable opinion, but as of Wednesday her popularity is 42.3%, according to the aggregate of polls compiled by the FiveRhirtyEight portal.
Trump has also been on an upward trajectory since he was the victim of an assassination attempt at an election rally. On that day, July 13, favorable opinions towards the Republican were at 41.6% and on Wednesday they are at 43.3%.
