The incidence value continues to fall
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days has fallen significantly within one day – from 31.3 on Wednesday to 27.9. A week ago the value was 42.7.
Three more deaths
According to the social authorities, 124 corona patients are treated in Hamburg’s hospitals. 58 of them are treated in intensive care units. According to the RKI, 1,548 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic, resulting in three more deaths.
About 13,800 PCR tests per day
The number of laboratory-evaluated PCR tests carried out in Hamburg currently averages around 13,800 tests per working day, according to the social welfare authority. Despite the increase in tests, the rate of positive results fell from 3.2 percent to 2.5 percent compared to the previous week.
