Out of 838 tests carried out, 78 returned positive to the coronavirus, ie a positivity rate of 9.31%. These are 52 follow-up contact cases and 26 cases from community transmission distributed as follows: Touba (3), Khombole (2), Plateau (2), Thiès (2), Sangalkam (2), Yoff (2) , Almadies (1), Fann (1), Guédiawaye (1), Joal (1), Kaolack (1), Liberté 5 (1), Liberté 6 (1), Mbao (1), Mbour (1), Ngor ( 1), Refurbished plots (1), Crow’s feet (1) and Saint Louis (1)
39 patients were tested negative and declared cured.
44 serious cases are treated in the intensive care units.
3 new deaths linked to Covid-19, recorded.
To date, Senegal has 7,478 positive cases including 4,909 cured, 136 deaths and 2,432 still under treatment.
