Meanwhile, 85 percent of the 4.9 million households that are entitled to the premium have automatically received it. This means that 15 percent, or 775,000 households, have not yet received their 100 euros.
“Normally, your energy contract is automatically linked to the premium,” explains Lien Meurisse, spokesperson for the FPS Economy. “But if the details of your contract do not fully correspond with your details in the national register, problems can arise. This may be because there is a spelling error in your name or because your address is not completely correct.”
