Joel Embiid and James Harden failed against the New York Knicks in the Philadelphia 76ers’ 119-112 win Sunday at Madison Square Garden.

Embiid finished the game with 35 points. His teammate James Harden also looked very comfortable playing on Christmas Day as he finished with 29 points and 13 assists.
However, the New Yorkers had picked up a good rhythm from the beginning of the game, taking the lead by fifteen points at the end of the first quarter. They led most of the game, escaping the lead just twice. Late in the game, however, the Knicks had some difficulty making their chances come true. That was enough for Pennsylvania State to take advantage of this lack of opportunism to finally take the lead midway through the fourth quarter. Visitors never looked back.
