“75 Years of Strong Economic Ties between Germany and Israel: Looking Towards the Future Together”

Economic ties are close: more than 7,000 German and Israeli companies maintain business relationships with one another, some of which have been in business for many years, and the trade and service volume of both countries exceeded 11 billion euros last year. “Made in Germany” is a valued seal of quality in the Near Eastern country; Israel, in turn, has developed into one of the most renowned R&D and innovation locations in the world.

Against this background, the IHK Frankfurt am Main, together with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), the German Chamber of Commerce Abroad (AHK) Israel and the German-Israeli Economic Association (DIW), invite you to their premises on June 6 from 10 a.m.

Together into the future

Under the heading “75 years of Israel and German-Israeli economic relations: on a strong foundation together into the future”, the organizers present German-Israeli success stories and take a look at the potential of economic cooperation.

The program includes greetings and keynotes by IHK President Ulrich Caspar, Israeli Ambassador Ron Prosor, AHK President Michael Federmann, DIW President Hildegard Müller and DIHK Foreign Trade Director Volker Treier. A round of talks will then focus on “German-Israeli economic relations – paths from the past to the future”.

In the afternoon there is an opportunity to attend two of the four “Breakout Sessions”. First, the mega-topics of cyber security and biotech & health will be discussed in parallel, followed by energy and food tech in a second round.

The event closes with a summary of the results and a get-together.

Would you like to be there? Participation costs 95 euros, you can register until June 2nd. A registration form and the detailed program are available at events.frankfurt-main.ihk.de.
