Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 523 persons who have recovered from the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving necessary medical care and recovering according to WHO guidelines; The total number of people recovering from the virus to 22,241 cases until today.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs, said that 1025 new cases, which proved positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, were recorded as part of the surveillance, investigation and necessary examinations conducted by the Ministry according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 75 new cases.
“According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days of infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Coruna virus,” Mujahid said.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Wednesday, is 78,304 cases, including 22,241 cases that have been cured, and 3,564 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the Republic, follow the situation first-hand regarding the “emerging corona” virus, and take all necessary precautions against any viruses or infectious diseases, and the ministry has devoted a number of means of communication to receive citizens’ inquiries about the emerging corona virus and infectious diseases, Including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the “Health Egypt” application available on phones.
