18,932 Covid-19 examinations were performed in Latvia last day. 733 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered, according to the Center for Disease Prevention and Control.
17 Covid-19 deaths were reported on Tuesday. One person died between the ages of 50 and 59, one between the ages of 60 and 69, eight between the ages of 70 and 79, and seven between the ages of 80 and 89. So far, a total of 2019 people who have contracted Covid-19 have died in Latvia, which is 1.85% of all confirmed cases of Covid-19.
The proportion of positive cases against those tested is 3.9%.
The incidence of Covid-19 in Latvia is consistently high, and now it is almost a week, but the two-week cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population is still growing, which has now reached 352.5 cases. Recently, the lowest indicator was on April 7 – 330.6.
In Latvia, a total of 109,088 people have contracted Covid-19.
