“72nd Feria de Pentecôte in Nîmes: Traffic Restrictions and Public Transport Recommendations”

The 72nd edition of the Feria de Pentecôte will be held from Thursday 25 to Monday 29 May, attracting more than a million people to the streets of the city. This cultural and festive event will highlight local traditions, offering a vibrant spectacle of music, dance and gastronomy. Bullfights, horse shows, outdoor concerts and food tastings are among the many activities on offer at this iconic feria.

These festivities cause traffic difficulties around the city every year. The authorities therefore advise visitors to use public transport to get there.

You will not be able to join or leave the A54 motorway at Nîmes-Centre (N°1), interchange which will be completely closed in both directions of traffic, Thursday evening, between 8 p.m. and midnight as well as the nights of Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.

In the direction of Montpellier, it will be possible to exit before, at Nîmes-Garons (N°2) or after at Nîmes-Ouest (N°25) on the A9.

In the direction of Marseille, you can take the Nîmes-Est exit (N°24) on the A9 and follow the route “TO Montpellier» indicated by yellow traffic signs. Another possibility is to exit later on the A54, at Nîmes-Garons.
