FOGGIA – A 72-year-old woman, Francesca Marasco, was killed a few minutes ago with several stab wounds in a tobacconist’s shop in Foggia in via Marchese De Rosa. The carabinieri are on the scene for the investigation.
At the moment it is not excluded that it could be a robbery gone bad.
According to what we learn, the victim is the owner of the tobacco shop. She returned from vacation today. Investigators have already acquired a number of elements to identify the perpetrator of the murder. In support of the investigative activity there could also be images from the video surveillance system. To discover the woman’s body lying on the ground and to alert the police was a customer of the tobacconist who entered to make purchases.
The weapon that hit the woman shortly after 1 pm was found by the carabinieri, a few tens of meters from the commercial activity.
