A 71-year-old woman hit a pedestrian and two other cars on Saturday while turning her back in the parking lot of a supermarket in Sighișoara, Mureș County, according to Mediafax.
According to IPJ Mureș, the police were notified to intervene on Saturday at a road event, produced in the parking lot of a supermarket in Sighișoara, which resulted in the bodily injury of a pedestrian.
From the first investigations made on the spot, the police established that a 71-year-old woman from Sighișoara, while driving a car, when performing the maneuver to turn her back, when leaving the parking lot, hit a pedestrian. It is about a 45-year-old woman from the locality, who is behind the car.
Subsequently, the woman behind the wheel collided with two other parked cars.
The accident resulted in the injury of the pedestrian, who was taken and transported to the hospital for specialized medical care.
The woman behind the wheel was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being negative.
Police have opened a criminal case for culpable bodily harm.
