20. in September, the singer celebrated her 70th birthday. She doesn’t really like celebrating birthdays, but this year she and her husband went, in her words, “where it’s warmer.”
She said about her everyday life: “Life goes on. Although I haven’t worked in an official job for a long time, I always have something to do, and the days go by without me noticing. You can’t evaluate everyday worries anymore.”
The singer said that she spends half of the week in Riga, half in her holiday home in Gipka, where she can watch the ever-changing sea and sky from the window.
“I follow all current events, which, unfortunately, in my seventies, I cannot influence.
It would be much younger, then – who knows. Maybe I’d go into politics,” Zīvere said.
In her spare time, she reads a lot, usually detective fiction and biographical novels.
It has already been announced that a year ago, the pop diva of the 70s and 80s of the last century enjoyed feelings she had not had for a long time.
On her birthday, after a long break, she returned to the stage and sang the songs of her husband, Zigmars Liepiņš, with texts written by herself, in the program “What is important”, which was performed in several concerts.
