The doctor warned that there are no symptoms in the early stages of this type of cancer, which makes it particularly dangerous. As the disease progresses, a woman may notice a blood clot and enlarged lymph nodes in the scalp. Inflammation of the external genitalia can also be seen.

Later stages of cervical cancer are characterized by symptoms such as purulent vaginal discharge, difficulty urinating and difficulty swallowing.

To diagnose the disease, doctors use screening – cytological examination of cervical smears for HPV and other diseases. If cancer is detected at an early stage, the treatment will be successful, moreover, in this case it is possible to preserve the reproductive function of a woman.

The main method of treatment in the beginning is surgical stages, such as conization. This is a low-traumatic operation in which only part of the cervix and cervical canal is removed.
