70% of patients with Covid-19 suffered from vitamin D deficiency

In patients with coronavirus, scientists discovered a lack of vitamin D. This affected approximately 70% of patients with Covid-19.

According to ToDay News Ufa, citing Glas Naroda, a low level of vitamin D in the human body cannot be a factor indicating coronavirus disease. Although 36.3% of patients with a lack of solar vitamin had a severe form of coronavirus.

However, it signals that the patient has problems that can be an aggravating factor in the disease. For example, it can be a metabolic disorder, a drop in immunity. This is especially dangerous for residents of the northern regions, who could not leave for health improvement in the summer and were forced to spend even warm summer days in self-isolation within four walls.

It was previously reported that Rospotrebnadzor said that children are not carriers of coronavirus.
