DISTRICT LEAGUE A
7-0 after 37 minutes
SV BW Waltershofen continues to march towards the district league with big strides. The unchallenged table leader, who won 17 of his 18 season games in Season II, won 7:1 against SV BW Wiehre. In the early stages of the encounter, the promoted team got under the wheels. Less than 90 seconds had passed before the game device wriggled in the goal net of the guests, who had already conceded seven goals after a good half hour. Once again Torjger Raul Sick was the center of attention. The former SC Freiburg youth player scored a pack of five and increased his goalscoring tally to 34 in 15 appearances this season – a strong quota. Good for the guests, who are in the middle of the table: the locals’ thirst for goals was already satisfied after 37 minutes. “I can’t fault very much in the first half. Our preparations went very well. The lads did everything we set out to do,” said coach Markus Bilharz. The second half went without further hits. For the coming season, the blue and white announced the commitment of another attacker. Etienne Heisch, top goalkeeper in district league B, season II, comes from SV Hochdorf. “We don’t want to let the opponents get close,” says Bilharz as a major goal for the coming weeks.
