A 7 year old girl in Beringin District, Semarang Regency, Central Java, allegedly burned by a neighbor who is still in junior high school. The case is being investigated by the police.
Reported detikJateng, the case was known to have occurred on Thursday, June 24. But they just got the report.
“We have received a report from the victim, and currently it is being handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit PPA,” said Semarang Police Chief AKBP Achmad Oka in his statement, Thursday (13/7/2023).

Head of Public Relations of the Semarang Police, Iptu Pri Handayani, added that his party had examined a number of people related to the case, including the victim’s family, friends, to the head of the hamlet where the victim lived. But until now the victim is still injured and could not be questioned.
“We have also invited psychologists and social services to be able to carry out examinations on the victims. Until now, because the victim is still injured and he is still feeling pain, so to this day we are still unable to get information,” he said.
The victim was allegedly set on fire by a neighbor who was still in junior high school. The victim’s legal adviser, M Arif Maulana, said that the victim was burned while having a snack at a shop near his house.
