Seven lecturers and researchers from Diponegoro University (Undip) are included in Stanford University’s list of the 2% most influential scientists in the world. The research data in this list was taken by Elsevier.
The ranking is based on standardized indicators of the citation impact of publications compiled by researchers. Stanford and Elsevier ranking results are usually used as a benchmark for scientists in the academic world.

Profile of Undip lecturers who are in the top 2% of Stanford scientists
1. Dr. Sugiharto SPt MSc PhD
Sugiharto is a lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture. On Stanford’s list of the most influential scientists, he ranks 57,173.
Sugiharto is an expert in animal nutrition research and agricultural biotechnology. The research he is doing relates to livestock productivity, livestock health, food security, and the agricultural sector in Indonesia.
2. Dr Ir Hadiyanto, ST MSc IPU
Hadiyanto was ranked 58,005. At Undip, he is a lecturer at the engineering faculty.
Hadiyanto’s area of focus is environmental technology. In addition to being active in researching national resources, Hadiyanto also collaborates and runs international projects.
3. Dr rer nat Heru Susanto, ST MM MT
Heru is an expert in the study of membranes and polymers. On the list, it ranks 142,790th.
This professor at the Undip Department of Chemical Engineering is now also the Vice Chancellor of Undip 1. Heru completed his undergraduate education at Undip, a master’s degree at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and a doctoral degree at University of Duisburg Essen.
4. Prof Dr Jamari, ST MT IPU

Tutuk is the next Undip lecturer on the list. He is ranked 162,212.
Tutuk is an expert on membranes and gas separation. He has done a lot of research on membrane technology for water, waste water treatment, gas separation or carbon nanotube production and others.
6. Dr Ir Andri Cahyo Kumoro, ST MT IPU, ASEAN Eng
Andri is ranked 174,045 on Stanford’s list of influential scientists. This expert in the field of agricultural product processing is a lecturer at the Undip Faculty of Engineering.
Andri’s research is related to food technology, chemical engineering, industrial waste processing and plantations. He also often studies food processing, for example coffee, fish and others.
7. Dr Eng Achmad Widodo, ST MT
Achmad Widodo is a lecturer at the Undip Faculty of Engineering. He is ranked 242,283 according to the Stanford ranking of influential scientists in the world.
This person, who is also an Undip alumnus, is an expert in the field of artificial intelligence, machine fault diagnosis, prognosis. Now he teaches courses in engineering mathematics, engineering analysis, engineering vibration, kinematics and dynamics.
