Be proud of yourself for taking the step to quit. Reward yourself: put the money you save in a jar and do something fun with it. If it doesn’t work out for a while, that doesn’t mean it will never work out. It just doesn’t work at that moment. Go back to your motivation and pick up where you left off. Most people need several quit attempts before they finally succeed in quitting. Don’t let yourself be discouraged. Above all, don’t be angry with yourself. That gives negative energy, which makes you stressed and increasingly gives you the urge to smoke. Be proud of yourself for making it this far. It’s going to be really good. Look forward to what you get when you stop smoking: more air, less coughing, better fitness, more energy, you save money, your taste improves, your skin becomes more beautiful (fewer wrinkles and fine lines), your fertility improves.
