This is a very common symptom seen in individuals who have been vaccinated and not vaccinated against Covid-19. Although colds are a symptom of a number of health problems, their prevalence during Covid infection is more pronounced.
“Our data shows that when Covid-19 rates are high, the likelihood of a cold due to Corona virus infection is high. But when Covid-19 levels are low, it tends to be symptomatic and more likely to be due to other causes such as a cold or allergies,” says a 2021 report by the ZOE Covid Study.
The occurrence of colds is especially seen during the Covid infection caused by worry. So even though you have been vaccinated, you will most likely catch a cold if you get Covid, therefore it is advisable to do a Covid-19 test.
